Seni Batik Ciri Khas Indonesia

Salah satu hasil karya rakyat bangsa yang sampai saat ini masih membuat dunia terkagum-kagum dan bahkan terpesona adalah Batik (lihat Batik Online). Batik merupakan produk budaya Indonesia yang sangat unik dan merupakan kekayaan budaya yang harus dilestarikan dan dibudidayakan. Selain itu, Busana Batik juga merupakan salah satu solusi potensial untuk mendongkrak devisa negara melalui revitalisasi industri kecil dan menengah. Hingga kini Busana Batik digunakan sebagai pakaian yang sangat eksotis. Khususnya karena Model Batik dan motifnya yang unik dan beragam baik itu di mata masyarakat pribumi sendiri ataupun pendatang asing dan tidak terkecuali masisir. (Klik “Jual Batik”)

Dalam proses pembuatannya, Baju Batik ternyata memakan proses yang cukup lama dan rumit. Mulai dari pemilihan kain yang bagus dan sesuai, kemudian obat batik, dan penyablonan atau pengecatan/pelukisan seni batik. Adapun prosesnya, dimulai dari pembuatan pola, kemudian penutupan dan pewarnaan dilakukan berulang-ulang hingga mendapat hasil yang diinginkan. Proses penutupan kain dengan bahan malam atau semacam bahan lilin dilakukan agar pori-pori kain tidak terwarnai. Alat yang digunakan untuk proses penutupan adalah Canting, Anglo atau kompor dan wajan kecil untuk memanasi malam. Namun yang paling rumit adalah Mode Batik canting karena membutuhkan ketrampilan yang khusus dan sedikit orang yang mampu untuk membuat batik canting. Rata-rata masyarakat yang terampil dalam menghasilkan produksi batik canting adalah masyarakat di daerah Pekalongan, Surakarta dan Jogjakarta.
Keunikan seni batik atau Mode Batik sendiri dapat dilihat motifnya yang beraneka ragam mulai dari motif yang bernuansa klasik hingga modern. Definisi dari motif adalah corak-corak hiasan yang digunakan dalam proses melukis atau menerapkan batik.(silahkan lihat Batik Online)
Para panelis dan perancang mode internasional seperti Jepang mengakui bahwa Model Batik bisa memberikan sebuah inspirasi tersendiri dalam menghasilkan sebuah trend pakaian bertaraf internasional. Banyak sekali trend baju kontemporer yang mulai berkiblat dan memanfaatkan seni batik. Hingga saat ini minat masyarakat mancanegara terhadap batik sangatlah besar.
Namun sepertinya Baju Batik yang merupakan produk peradaban dan kebudayaan Nusantara kita sedang hampir mengalami 'kecolongan'. Seni Batik kurang terperhatikan untuk diberdayakan sebagai sumber devisa yang sangat potensial. Jika kondisi ini kita relakan berjalan dengan apa adanya, maka bisa diprediksikan negara kita akan mengalami kerugian yang sangat memprihatinkan. Kerugian tersebut tidak hanya dari segi materi yang mana bisa kita daya gunakan untuk mendongkrak devisa negara melalui sektor pariwisata maupun ekspor-impor. melainkan juga kerugian dari segi keotentikannya sebagai produk peradaban bangsa Indonesia akan terancam semakin samar di mata dunia internasioanal dan lama kelamaan akan luntur ditelan zaman.
Betapa tidak, batik yang selama ini telah menjadi maskot visualisasi kekayaan budaya kita di mata dunia mulai mengabur originalitasnya sebagai salah satu kekayaan khazanah budaya Nusantara (Batik Modern). Bahkan ironisnya, batik siap "diserobot" oleh negara lain sebagai produk original negara mereka. Namun yang terpenting, apakah kita sang penerus tongkat estafeta kehidupan bangsa tahu atau setidaknya peduli dengan fakta ini?. Mungkin bisa dibilang sedikit sekali yang peduli akan hal tersebut karena mayoritas masyarakat kita masih memandang batik sebelah mata. Begitu pula halnya dengan pemerintah kita yang kurang intens atau peduli dengan industri perbatikan Nusantara. Padahal jika masyarakat dan pemerintah mau dan bersama-sama peduli, pasti sekarang bahkan mungkin sudah sejak lama, batik menjadi sebuah karya dan primadona masyarakat dunia (silahkan lihat “Batik Modern”.
